It has been a long and difficult winter for so many of us but at last British summer time is just a few days away. We can look forward to lighter evenings as the clocks move forward an hour and hopefully some gorgeous warm sunshine to lift our spirits.

Some little ones adjust to the clock change without any problems but others can find the hour difference difficult.

If you would like to help your little one adjust then you would need to move their body clock back. This means moving all the timings of their routine back by 15 minutes every couple of days or so - wake up, naps, meals and bedtime.

Blackout blinds are now an essential fixture in the room where your baby or child sleeps at night.

Let's spring forward with a big smile on our face. Better things are definitely on the way!
